Set Design and Dressing
Using a CNC router for cutting Scenery and Stage Dressing
In recent years advances in technology have meant that theatre and cinema goers have come to expect a certain standard of quality when it comes to sets and scenery. In many cases it is no longer viable to try and cut items by hand using a jigsaw. Thanks to our 3m x 2m CNC router we can offer precise and large scale cutting at trade prices. We have worked with multiple theatre production companies to cut a wide range of shapes and materials.
If you are interested in finding out more about how we can help you move beyond slow and imprecise hand tools then call us now.
We can cut the parts for you to assemble yourselves or we can use the skills of our experienced bench joiner to give you a finished item built to your specifications. In this case we routed the wood using a specialist scoop tool to get the correct look, it was then painted and finished to the required standard.
We work closely with our customers to make sure that they are getting exactly what they want. We can work from supplied CAD files or we can work from your designs or sketches.
